No Test or Quiz can tell you who you should be. They do though give you an indication of who you are today. Over time as you take on new knowledge and experience new things, these tests will reveal a slightly different result. Note too that is possible that you could believe whatever answers is provided – I heard about a study that apparently showed that over 60% ‘believed’ the results to a test despite everyone being given the same answer.
To me there are many benefits of still doing the tests and quizzes.
Firstly it will get you thinking about the whole topic of ‘who am I’. Many go through life without challenging the status quo. Others spend their whole life searching. Both are missing out on getting the best from life.
Another benefit comes from asking oneself ‘why do I give a particular answer’? It may be useful to have your buddy be with you as you do them so you have someone to determine what could be a good answer. Your spirit may be challenged too by giving a particular answer that may suggest that there is some baggage still to be dealt with.
Thirdly and the one that changed my take on life is when you do believe the answer. When you can stand on the answer and stand up to others such they can no longer put you down, you gain control back.. Accepting yourself is crucial to a valued life. Your opinions are valid in the context of your own life.
